Somehow I was intrigued enough to sit through one video, but the worst part is that damn music that's playing. I felt a little uncomfortable afterwards.
I'm gonna go wash my hands.
I can't imagine if I strapped that MJOLNIR Condom on. I can only think that the sensitivity levels would heighten and my "abilities" would become greatly enhanced.
;)
This got out of line from the get go.
I just submitted to my boss that I'm taking a few days off around Sept. 25th.
Extra Sick Days FTW!
...Samsung makes some pretty darn sexy TV's too. I just bought a 40" 1080p Samsung, and I love that high gloss finish around the screen. Pretty sexy, but hard to keep clean.
That being said, Sony makes some good looking TV's too, but they don't have enough HDMI inputs on their TV's yet. :(
What are you doing? You will not last long on here with that kind of crap. Grow Up!
For a second there I almost thought you weren't a fanboy, but you had to go and ruin it. Simply an uncalled for comment. Bubble Lost = Time Lost
Anyway, this is a great thing for Halo fans. In the broader spectrum it's a great thing for all gamers to start seeing these games allowing for 4 player online co-op. It's a good indication of the capability of these next gen systems.
I'm ready for some REAL next gen stuff from them. They've been rocking the same graphics and gameplay model since the Dreamcast. I'm a huge fan of the DOA and Ninja Gaiden Series, hell, I even bought both of the DOA Volleyball games. I'm just ready to see some new stuff, cause I feel like the talent is there to really do some great/realistic looking games. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a good game, but still not all that I'm expecting from them.
I love to see this kind of stuff make it's way on to XBLA and PSN. I think that the arcade on consoles has really given new life to independent developers. Often times you find that these independent developers are far more creative and talented than the major ones, but they just don't have the funds to make the big games.
CREATIVITY and INGENUITY FTW!
I just posted a response in another topic about this. This is all about Sony's strategy with the PS3, cause they really are in it for an 8-10 year life cycle. By 2010 MS and Nintendo will be close to releasing their next gen systems and I expect them both to turn to some type of next gen storage format at that point. Do games need BR or HD DVD right now? No, not really...but in three or four years they definitely will.
Went to my local Blockbuster last week and saw the Blu-Ray section for the first time. The BR section was right next to the video games, good decision.
Are the BR discs located next to the games in your local Blockbuster?
It's hard to make those kind of comments on this site, cause everyone thinks that Blu-Ray is the "end all, be all". I'll give you a bubble for giving your honest opinion.
I also own both a PS3 and the HD DVD add-on. My personal experience so far has been that HD DVD is a better format, at least for now. The features and even picture quality is better, not a whole lot better...but better. I agree that Casino Royale, and even the POTC movies are the best Blu-Ray experie...
I'm personally all about consoles because I feel like there are "MORE" great games featured on consoles than on PC, and I find it arduous to continue to update my PC to keep up with the changes. My personal preference. Although, I love me some good RTS action on PC.
That being said, I have several friends that tinker with their PC like it's a car and are always changing this or adding that. That's their thing.
I personally think this game will shine on the DS, cause the top down view and touch controls will make it much easier to manage your "Pinata Garden". I JUST, three days ago, traded in my DS cause I didn't play anything but Advance Wars on it, but now I'm kicking myself with the Viva Pinata announcement. Oh well, this won't be the first time I've traded in a handheld and then had to go buy it again.
Sony should have quite a few good announcements, and yes I did see that "Team Ico" also has something to share. Would like to hear about expanding the PSN, and adding some video service.
Nintendo, it's not surprising that they're not showing up cause they freaking own Japan right now...and the US...and the World (for now).
MS needs some good announcements here. They kinda fell flat at E3, even though they had some amazing games highlighted. We haven't h...
As far as what you get "in" the PS3, it is a good value. The components and machine itself is worth the $600. I'm interested in High-Def DVD's (Blu-Ray and HD DVD), so the PS3 was a no brainer in regards to buying a Blu-Ray player that will also have a great line up of games too.
The thing that kind of disturbs me is that Sony really was "pushing" the Cell and Blu-Ray on the consumer. I mean, the technology is phenomenal and for a tech geek like me it is per...
The first Stuntman on PS2 seemed to be WAY better in the cinematics department. I was disappointed in the demo in regards to the replay cinematics, however I think the controls were better with this version compared to the previous one.
I've been playing this for a while on the 360 and it's a great game. Another good racer to now add on for the PS3. This will help balance against Motorstorm, which is way more "arcade-y". DIRT is a great rally sim, and a piss load of fun.
At one point or another we've all become frustrated playing video games, and maybe have even thrown a controller or two. BUT, you can't be in your right mind to harm a child, regardless of the circumstances. This is just too bad.
On another note... You'll always be able to find these kind of stories out there, cause this is a BIG world and there are always going to be evil/crazy things going on. It's like when you turn on the cable news tonight and find another child missing or...
Not sure what's going on with the GTAIV issue. It could be PS3 development issues or disc space issues with DVD9, either one of those seems the most logical.
As far as impact, I think this hurts Sony a little more than it does MS. This holiday is very important for Sony and MS, but I think MS has more of an advantage this holiday with an already strong line up of games that don't include GTA (Halo 3, Mass Effect, Viva Pinata, Rock Band, etc.). The MS perfect storm thing doesn'...
